The Vodafone HQ in Newbury incorporates 8 multi-level car park structures built to accommodate Vodafone staff and visitors. Over a period of around 30 years, the original car park finishes had degraded and the concrete structures were increasingly exposed to damage from weather and the day to day demands of accommodating 100’s of cars and vehicles. Vodafone approached the market for proposals and solutions to the various issues. Logistics were also critical with the need to maintain access to the parking areas at all times whilst works proceeded and inconvenience to site users down to an absolute minimum.

After a detailed assessment and consideration of our proposals, Floor & Wall limited was awarded the contract to carry out the carpark refurbishment works.

  • Removal & reinstatement of 23,000M2 waterproofing deck coatings
  • Concrete grinding to reduce irregular concrete profile
  • Removal & reinstatement of existing failed movement joins
  • High pressure cleaning to concrete soffits, columns etc.
  • Vertical and overhead concrete repairs to soffits, columns, beams etc.
  • Deck concrete repairs and infills
